About us

We are a team of engineers and fabricators designing high-quality racing products for racers and automotive enthusiasts of all types, from weekend racers to top tier racing teams. Applied Carbon Racing (ACR) began as a passion project of founder Byron Young. His extensive experience designing and fabricating advanced aircraft and high performance vehicles ensures ACR products are optimized for peak performance. After leaving his position at Koenigsegg, Byron founded ACR to develop racing products and to spend more time with his family. The team is growing and applying their expertise to novel racing products. ACR's sister company, Applied Carbon Aircraft (ACA), develops aircraft and specialized aerospace products.
